Characteristics of Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering Science
Aiming for innovation that makes full use of mechanical engineering expertise
Introducing Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering
We use machines, live surrounded by machines, and live in a highly technological society that cannot exist without machines. Today, challenges for the future are expanding, such as protecting the global environment, improving welfare systems, and even advancing into space, and there is a strong need for innovative technologies to harmonize humans and machines. We aim to develop engineers and researchers who will contribute to the world with a focus on digital manufacturing, robotics, and nanomechanics. After acquiring a wide range of skills such as mechanical mechanics, thermal engineering, fluid mechanics, materials engineering, processing engineering, control engineering, and information engineering, students can develop their expertise through two courses: "Aerospace/Mechanical Science" and "Robotics/Intelligent Machine Design." Deepen it. In over 30 laboratories, you can take on the challenge of advanced, unexplored science and technology that will open up future mechanical systems. We provide an ideal environment for students to acquire the ability to be active on a global scale with cutting-edge and original conceptual abilities and rich communication and expressive abilities.
Educational goals We foster mechanical researchers and engineers who will support and lead technological innovation in all industrial products that contribute to the sustainable development of the earth and humanity. We aim to help students acquire basic and specialized knowledge of mechanical systems engineering, the ability to apply it freely, presentation skills, and communication skills so that they can play an active role in global society.
