Welcome Luncheon for 2011 Spring New Students

After the April FOLENS Seminar, 15 new students (the third intake of April 2011) were welcomed at a warm luncheon. Pleasant time in a sunny spring afternoon was shared with the first (April 2010) and second (October 2010) intake students, affiliated faculty members and FOLENS faculty members. Professor Takashi Gomi, Deputy Director of FOLENS, spoke in his welcome speech: ‘This kind of international, multi-disciplinary atmosphere was not seen in Japanese universities when I was a university student. You should fully enjoy the atmosphere and opportunity in FOLENS.’ (tf)
